I realize that the notion of the president's Saturday address attained the category of political tripe long ago, but for Dear Leader to spout the same tired platitudes regarding Iraq for two weeks in a row really goes beyond the pale.

And why should we "stay the course?"
"Iraqis are working together to build a free nation that contributes to peace and stability in the region, and we will help them succeed," Bush said in his weekly radio address.
Even this sentiment is ludicrous on its face since the Iraqis can't make their own nation stable, much less be a paragon for the rest of the region.
