Even though Atrios proclaims Microsoft's willingness to "throw its political weight behind efforts to pass any future Washington state gay anti-discrimination bill after coming under criticism for taking a neutral stance on the issue" a victory, I can't get too excited about it.
After all, the heinous bill passed in the state's legislature while Microsoft twiddled its corporate thumbs. Whether "any future Washington state gay anti-discrimination bill" ever comes up for action is problematic at best.
No, unfortunately this johnny come lately assertion sounds too much like the kind of closing-the-barn-door action that Connecticut's junior senator has been guilty of in the past.
