Well, Iraq has a new cabinet, and the news will no doubt be prominent at Dear Leader's press get-together tonight.

One interesting thing, though: "[I]n a sign that the damaging bickering between Shia, Sunni Arab and Kurdish parties may not be over, five ministries, including the key posts of defence and oil [and electricity], have yet to be agreed on."

This government certainly won't be stable with such important posts left unfilled. After all, what are the basic concerns of Iraq these days? Oil, electricity, and defense. Without anyone in charge of such basic entities (although the execrable Ahmad Chalabi(!) will be the temporary oil minister), the government still seems to be tenuous at best.
