One can only hope this is true.
The US economy will rush to a 20-year record growth pace in 2004, fast enough finally to shrink the jobless queues, a panel of top business economists predicted ...

The world's number one economy would grow at a pace of 3.0 percent in 2003 and 4.5 percent in 2004, the speediest rate for any year since 1984, the ... panel said Monday.
We'll obviously see if this occurs. It goes without saying that similar predictions were made for 2001 and 2002 without comparable outcomes.

If this rosy forecast does come to pass, there's no way the Bushies will be defeated in 2004.
