I know virtually no one is following the Yukos story, but this is very troubling news.
Russia's richest man, Mikhail Khodorkovsky, who is jailed on fraud and tax evasion charges, resigned Monday as head of the Russian oil giant Yukos.
I have trouble believing that this was a voluntary resignation.

It appears as if Putin and his thugs are succeeding in consolidating power. In other words, it looks as if the pigs are turning into their predecessors.

Meanwhile, President Unelected just lets this anti-democratic state of affairs go on as if nothing is happening, indicating that time spent with the Russian dictator president is no less than "quality time."

(BTW--Still no statement from our Commander in Chief regarding yesterday's helicopter incident.)
